Evaluation Rules
Minimum 40% required in each subject to pass.
Internal and external assessments for theory and school experience must be passed separately.
Question papers include knowledge, reasoning, analytical and practical skill questions.
Each exam is a single paper of 3 hours; Year 1 foundation papers are 2 hours, Year 2 Health & Physical Education paper is 2 hours.
First and second year internal: Foundation Course 70:30, Pedagogy Course 60:40 external to internal ratio.
Two internal tests and a portfolio of practical work required each year.
Available Days & Timetable
Total work days per session: 240 days.
Admission formalities: 10 days.
Exam preparation: 4 days; Evaluation sessions: 6 days; Exams: 10 days.
School experience preparation: 10 days; Practicum: 50 days.
Daily 8 teaching periods; total 1200 periods per year.
General Instructions
The course spans two years (240 working days each).
First year: 10 papers; second year: 9 papers (including one optional subject).
Theory and school practicum divided into internal and external assessments, each requiring 40% to pass.
School experience includes a 7-day Scout & Guide camp in Year 2.
Two internal tests and practical tasks are mandatory in each subject every year.
Uniform & Discipline
Students must wear prescribed uniform at all times; non-compliance incurs ₹20 fine and record in disciplinary file.
Late arrival will not be permitted entry into college.
Disciplinary breaches may lead to expulsion by the college management committee.
Attendance & College Rules
Mandatory daily assembly and co-curricular activities; attendance required.
Minimum attendance: 200 days as per NCTE guidelines.
Jobs or additional courses during training are strictly prohibited.
Continuous absence without valid reason for 15 days leads to name removal; re-admission required.
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Kota courts.
